The Daily Training Programme audio-based repetition course designed to help you improve your pronunciation. The programme starts with the building blocks of speech—individual sounds—before moving on to syllables, words, and full sentences. It uses spaced repetition to help you internalise the sounds and build muscle memory at a comfortable pace.
We start with the sounds of English in their simplest forms. By disassociating sounds from words and meanings, we can bypass the internal “language filter”, enabling you to mimic the sounds more accurately. The exercises in this course present the sounds of English in their rawest form—just like an infant learns to babble before they articulate their first word.
Audio files and PDF Guides: The programme provides recorded audio files of Received Pronunciation along with PDF guides, creating a comprehensive learning package.
Incremental approach: We start by breaking down sounds into small segments. This allows you to focus on articulating fundamental sounds without the distraction of complex vocabulary.
Studio Quality Audio: All files are professionally recorded using a Rode NT1-A studio condenser microphone, ensuring clear and crisp sound quality for effective listening.
Progressive difficulty: The programme progresses from single phonemes to frequently used syllables, connecting sounds, two-word combinations, and beyond. This gradual increase in difficulty helps you build upon your skills logically.
Spaced repetition: The method utilizes spaced repetition, ensuring that you are exposed to the sounds repeatedly over time. This helps you absorb the sounds into your subconscious.
Integration with lessons: While this can be used as a standalone self-study tool, combining the Daily Training Programme with regular lessons allows you to advance at a faster pace.
